FRENCH MISSOURI

We have been studying early Missouri and learned that the French were the first to settle here after the Indians. 

We studied many things about life in French Missouri:  The French Village, French Houses, African Americans in Early French Communities, French and Indian Neighbors, Farming in French Missouri, Fur Trading and Lead Mining, Women in French Missouri, French Cooking, French Clothing, French Schools, and French People at Play.

We split up into 4 groups and each group split up the workload to learn about each area.  Then, we came togther to “jigsaw” and share our information with each other.

 We created powerpoint presentation to share our information with each other.  They have been uploaded to Slideshare and posted above – Click on the different tabs.
